Number of Channels
Each channel on an amplifier will power one speaker using a positive and negative cable. There are various types of amplifiers, each designed to power a certain number of speakers. Monoblock amplifiers, also known as single channel, are designed to power one or more subwoofers. These amplifiers often have very high power ratings. On the other hand, multi-channel amplifiers power multiple speakers, usually at lower power ratings. 2-Channel and 4-Channel amplifiers can power car speakers or low powered subwoofers. Occasionally you might see a 5 or 6-channel amplifier that can power speakers and subwoofers at the same time. The most common setup is a monoblock amp to run subwoofers and a 4-channel amp to run door speakers. Check out our Knowledge Base for more information.

This item stopped the start pop of my cheap little amp, i am guessing an amp of slightly better quality would have this anti pop built into it, but where cheap amps fall short this little thing picks up the slack. easy to wire, the only thing that i did not like was they provided no means to mount it other than a cheap piece of double stick tape. two small mounting holed molded into the case would have been appreciated, but i made a custom bracket and it worked out ok.

I have a system that turns on all the amps and source at the same time via a relay. Unfortunately, this causes an unwanted pop when applying power. It also makes a thump when powering off the system.

Ideally, i think this is what needs to happen:
1. Push Power switch
2. Turn on Source
3. Turn on Amps

1. Push power switch
2. Turn off amps
3. Turn off source

will this handle both of my issues, or will I need to buy two separate eliminators?
