I've got 2 of these running in .675 cubic feet each, sealed, seeing about 450 watts from my ARC Audio KAR 1000.2T and these things take it all in stride. Very clean, clear and powerful bass, never muddy or sloppy. These replaced a pair of Rockford Fosgate Power HX2's, and I believe these are a much better subwoofers. The HX2's were never this precise or musical, but I guess they weren't meant to be either. If you're thinking about these, STOP..... Just buy them. You'll be happy.

this sub is amazing. i have 2 at the moment be pumped by only a 250 watt amp. at 2 ohms they are running 125 a piece bridged and they are REALLY impressive.i have an amp en route that will push at 325 RMS. the RMS on JL is always a range because these are tested same and satisfactory all the way from 115-450RMS!! have you ever tried to power a 450 watt sub with 115 watts? it would be awful. but JL allows for a massive range of wattage based on amp. very tight deep and clear. never a dull time when JL is involved

These subs are great for the person who absolutely must have sound quality from their subwoofers. They have tight, punchy response, and have a quick response. They don't put out the loudest bass (I have two in a sealed box), but they do remain crisp and clear when they're pushed at high volumes. If your looking for crisp, clear bass, look no further. If your just looking for loud bass, and I mean ridiculously loud bass, then these probably aren't the subs for you, unless you're looking to grab more than a few of 'em.

I had three of these hooked up in a single cab truck for about three years. The bass was great and the sound was very clean. Still sounded brand new when I took them out about a month ago. For the price they are now, you can't beat it.

I have had a set of W3's since around 1997, running on Fosgate amps. I have 2 10's in a sealed box around and originally had them running on the old edition "bat wing" Fosgate punch 500, rated at 634watts. Bridged these bad boys cranked it out. Then I sold them to a friend, and about 3 years later decided to repurchase them when he needed money. Hooked them back up and they are still running today, 10 years after their original purchase. I love JL subs, they give you tight crisp bass, and the right setup will make them rock!
