West Coast Customs Signature Speakers by Diamond Audio
These West Coast Custom speakers are top quality for your dollar as they convert from coaxial to component. They are the exact same as the Diamond Audio D673A, only they are priced significantly less due to a huge closeout we purchased. At 120 watts RMS per set, they pair well with most high output aftermarket amplifiers. These door speakers are designed with a 1" aluminum tweeter, allowing for a bright presence of high frequencies. The 12db/octave crossover network will fade the tweeters subtly into the mid-range speaker.
Convertible Component System
This speaker system has the ability to be mounted in either a component or a coaxial application. Simply release the tweeter and pull the wires out of the center ventilation hole. You may mount the tweeter in a separate location from the mid-woofer to bring out the highs, increase imagery and transparency of your music and provide a balanced sound.

Mainly got these because my old door speakers weren't that loud and they didn't sound that good. I wanted the component system because I got the Alpine type R 15" and I wanted to hear the mids and highs over the bass. For that purpose I got a Jensen 760.4 amp to power these. They sound very good and the mids and highs are very clear and bright, It sounds like someone is singing right at me! Of course the speakers themselves don't have too amazing of bass, but its not a problem for me since I have a sub. With this amp the speakers are able to go very loud without problems. I'd recommend these speakers to someone who doesnt want to spend a lot of money on door speakers, also I recommend an amp because they can go pretty loud! Only con is the crossovers are big, so I had to just put them under the seats instead of the door's which wasn't a problem at all.

These sound great. I was skeptical because of the price but they are woth 3 times as much. I own some Diamond D1's and these are very similar minus the logos and rubber magnet boot. The basket is also different but does not affect the sound. The mids also have some of the best bass I've heard from a 6x8.
I have owned Pioneer and Boston SE85's and these are better. I am running them on a P400-4 if you are not going to amp these I don't think you will be happy with them. They like power.

I had a set of Infinity Reference 6000cs in the front of my '11 Tundra, they have been there for nearly 2 years, and they were in my 07 Tacoma for 3 years before that, and were in my accord for several years before that. They still sounded good, but they have more than a few years on them. I bought these on impulse when I saw the price (and because my truck cam with 6x9 in the front doors). When I got them i was kind of uncertain about putting them in, but went ahead and plunged in. I re-cut my baffles, screwed them in, ran wiring, found a place to hide the crossovers (which are fairly large) and buttoned everything up.
I am impressed and VERY happy I took a chance on stuff I knew nothing about.
They sound much better than my 7 year old (or older) Infinity speakers. I have been able to turn them up louder, push a bit more bass through them and they still sound cleaner and clearer. I am pushing them with a Pioneer 60x2 amp and it seems to be a perfect match.
The only reason ease of use did not get a 5 star is the crossovers are VERY large compared to what I am used to, and I was lucky to find a place under the center of my front console to fit them in.
