I've read reviews about owners from Wisconsin, Norway and other cooler parts of the world. To tell you I have used this Amp in my Pajero in a place like Kuwait where the scorcing heat temperatures are 50 Degrees minimum in summer. This has been ever since I purchased it in 2005 until date this Amp ROCKS the heat. Which means a default 50 Degrees heat multiplied with another 30 degrees of temperature which the Amp generates when used. So the Amp comfortably plays in 80 degrees heat for a number of hours.
The first time I opened up the volume, it literally sent a complimentary CRACK on the Rear Glass of my Jeep. This Amp is supported with a equally qualifiable subwoofer cone magnet. The Amp has beautiful fuse control if the car creates unusual hiccups. This happened once with me, but God is Great nothing happened to the Amp it was only the Fuse which was to be replaced which cost hardly a Dollar.
This is one of the best buys any Car Stereo Freak can invest in and be happy for the rest of his journey.
Lately I have changed the Front-end Stereo Deck from a RockFord CD Deck to an all Inclusive Pioneer USB System and amazed to hear that this Amp performs even more better. Infact I had to reduce the BASS settings to avoid Wind Shield Cracks....wink.
Go for it. These things are made once in a lifetime.

For over a year now this amp has amazed me, puts out a true 900 rms, in fact when we tested it showed 960. To anthony from Oakland, CA, Alot of times you wont even hear a difference between 500-1000rms power, alot is involved such as the voltage the amp revives, the decks pre-outs, the different subs efficiency and x-max, and the enclosure they are in.

ok so i bought this amp in fall of '06 and it still surprises me, considering i have blown up dozens of speakers with it. you know how some people get. "oh yeah it aint no 2000 watts... let me hook up my subs they can take it." i love the look on their faces when the smoke comes rolling out the trunk. after 2 years of ownership i still love this amp. i am using it to power 2 dub (audiobahn) 10's rated for 2400 watts for the pair, and they love this amp. i was running 2 1100 watt xplods in a nice bandpass box for the first year, and they did great too. anyway to anyone who is having a problem with this amp "cutting out"... take off the bottom cover and look for some scorch marks on it... if there is any, just find the transistor leads that are touching the cover and bend them down towards the cicuit board a bit.... seems that the factory didnt trim the leads down enough. i had that problem with mine for the first few months of owning it but it wasnt a hard prots pushing close to 2200 watts on certain songs atblem to fix at all. i have had mine rated, and i 1 ohm, and still stable to the last note. this amp is WELL worth the price, get it and you wont be disappointed at all. the problem with the circuit leads was stupid but easily fixable so im not gonna mark the review down any for it.
