Good quality bass, clear sound, comfortable for up to 1hour, after that the ears get hot. I was looking for closed ear phones to watch late night TV. It has a very long cord. The quality of sound surprised me as my primary phones are Grado sr325. The M50s were cheaper to buy from Sonic (including shipping, duties & taxes) than local suppliers.

I have tried multiple times with various different sites and companies to get these headphones in particular. They all said that it was this silver version but whenever they sent it it would always end up being the normal black version. This site is the only one which sent me the actual product I asked for. As for the headphones themselves they are amazing! They look great and deliver the sound quality that they are known for. They're really comfortable and are much more affordable and deliver more than some of the other headphones on the market. They are very flexible and have good durability although they lack a disconectable cord and a remote but being studio headphones that's understandable. Very easy to use and overall great for their price and quality. I would definitely recommend these to anyone looking for good headphones.

I bought these headphones six months ago- and even through an array of abuse (for instance, dropping it on a hard wooden floor), it still looks the same to me as it did on the day I received it. Shipping was also blazing fast- I received the headphones around a week after I had ordered them.
Aside from its great build quality, it also outputs some of the clearest, crispest sound I've ever heard. Also, the sound is nice and flat, so I can control if I want to hear more treble, mid or bass (which works very nicely). I can't hear any crackling coming from the headphones themselves, although the older music that I listen to often has imperfections which the headphones sometimes like to amplify.
Comfortwise, these headphones are quite average. The headphones need to be situated at a certain angle sometimes, or else it will start to physically annoy you. Still, the cups and the headband are both quite soft (but have hardened significantly over time).
Overall, I think this was a great buy- great sound, great build quality, and great price.
