I am sorry to say that I was not very impressed with this radio. Bad radio reception, unstable bluetooth, and, especially, a 2011 gps map that can NOT be upgraded.

I have had the Power Acoustik PNK-761 for about three months now and
this unit is a good Head unit. Its got good sound and good radio reception near cities, I use my Ipod more than the radio. The GPS I have found to have some problems, in Montana, and Washington I have had some misdirections, where it will tell you to go left, when you really want to go straight or to the right. A lot of the time on the free way it will say to turn left when you want to exit to the right. when I program in my address it tells me it is on the left, when it is on the right. It also has a problem with pronouncing the street names. I wish there was a way tro get the chip up graded, to get rid of these faults. If the GPS was better I would give it a better score. It is a little hard to change from gps to radio, or Ipod while you are driving, on the head unit, but it is easier with the steering wheel controls.

Look you can read my rambling about how amazing this unit is, or you can quit procrastinating and order this godsend of a head unit. I give you my word, "You will not be dissatisfied." Well worth every penny.
But if you must know:
The navigation is seamless and amazingly accurate. Far better than my phone unit. I use the hdmi input to run youtube and netflix from my smartphone to the unit. Blutooth is flawless and crystal clear. Plus it remembers your phone for life. No resyncing. I can go on and on and on. But I'd need another battery in my phone by the time I finish telling you how awesome this unit is. Stop wasting time and order it.

I can ramble on and on about how much this head unit does and how awesome it is, but I'm not. I'll give you the basics.
Good:
1.Install was a piece of cake. Less than 15 minutes in my new Honda Ridgeline.
2. Sounds 15x better than my factory unit. Going from 2-band to 7 equalizer makes a hell of a difference.
3. Blutooth is flawless. Plus it remembers your phone after power off.
4. Has HDMI input. Yes you can play netflix , hulu, crackle, youtube, etc. from your smartphone w/ an hdmi micro to hdmi.
5. Dual Zone is Amazing. You can have your navigation (or what ever) on up front and let your passengers keep watching movies in back. They can even listen to the movie separately via ir headphones.
6. You can navigate through your entire system while whatever media or radio is playing with no interruption of media.
Good but not great.
1. Have to buy remote separately ($30)
2. PIP is slightly difficult to control. But the manual gives step by step instructions.
3. Can't get rid of Power Acoustik skulls or change the bg color. I'm not a huge fan of skulls and wish there was a way to change the logo options.
Overall this Unit is THE SHHHHHHHHHH....!!! If you want a high quality unit with low quality price don't waste your time browsing anymore. This is it.

This is a great radio. The interface uses Window CE which is an embedded compact version of MS XP. It is actually a netbook computer running at 700Mhz. It multitask with 0 lag. Running the GPS, and DVD at the same time take a lot of processing power yet this unit plays them both in split screen without a single glitch.
Because it is a computer it has to boot up. However it is nothing like your PC at home, it takes about 5 second. If you have a backup camera attached and pop the car in reverse while it is booting, the unit will give piority to the camera and instantly show the picture while it boot in the background. (Boot time does not get longer)
Graphically the interface is clean, and well design. Moving from one application to the next is easy, it either plays them both at the same time if it make sense to do so or take over the whole screen. Shutting them down is only a maatter of clicking the [X] just like your home computer.
There is setting for manual time or GPS derive time, you simply set the time zone. You can set the brightness of the screen to dim at a set time and come back bright at another time. You can dowload you car logo and use it as screen saver. You can invoke it at anytime. If a camera is connected, it mute the volume when you reverse.
This GPS one of the best looking GPS out there (my opnion) there is a wow factor to the 3d graphics. I am not sure why they choose to show the plain black background 2D. Version on the box and on websites. Picture in picture with 2 sizes. It even has an analog speedo meter which is easier to read than a digital version. There is speed warining. Shows speed limit of road driving on. Speak and show street names. In short i have never seen a GPS with so much option. Maps colors for both day and night, 3 different english voices etc.
Bluetooth streaming and phone calls operate flawlessly. You can even change track right from your steering wheel control if connected.
On the down side. Reading anything from USB is slow as with any radio i have tested. Skipping from 1 track to next mean stopping and load. If you want instant track skipping use bluetooth and your phone.
I install this unit in a 2003 Audi Allroad. Here is what you need to install it this car.
2 files, a fine and a coarse one. If you use the scosche au2380b the bezel on the radio will not fit flush with it and the bezel that come with the scosche will not fit over the radio. You have to file the scosche trim to fit the radio if you dont want that ugly gap of course.
Metra Axxcess-1 ASWC if you want to keep your steering wheel control
Metra 40-VW54 power antenna adapter. Do not get the scosche Sonic provide.
Metra 70-1787 harnes with Bose amp.

Features, quality, appearance, all there. LOVE the way this creates complete voice removal for my subs. Friends of mine have Pioneers and Alpines and are impressed with how much this can do.

This headunit is very nice and priced extremely cheap. Only down side I would say is the installation. I would not recommend this to a person with low mechanical/electrical skills.
