Enhanced and Capable

Although strikingly similar to the E7 in appearance, do not allow the apparent similarities of the E17 to its counterpart distract from its distinct features. Most noticeably, the E17 features an enhanced interface. The E17 allows users a greater degree of control especially in the adjustment of Gain, Bass, Treble, and Balance all of which can be individually adjusted to create a personalized sound. Moreover, the E17 remains a powerful and portable headphone amplifier as well as USB DAC that is compatible with both the E9 desktop headphone amplifier and dock as well as the L7 dock kit.

I have only used the analog feature of this device and have been completely satisfied with the quality. The main reason for purchasing a headphone amp was due to my hearing loss in one ear. The ability to adjust the volume balance between right and left channels has been a God-send. This device is well built and easy to use.

If your thinking of a portable headphone amplifier then this is it. This thing sounds amazing and it's very powerful. I've got a few other portable headphone amps to compare it to and this thing outshines them all. Not only does it outshine them in sound but features as well.......this thing has separate bass and treble settings so you can tailor the sound just as you like it. The display is a nice feature which shows battery strength, volume and all your menu adjustments. It really makes a difference on all the headphones I hook to it.......it gives them all a more cleaner, crisp sound that's louder and has the bass response you can start to feel. Especially using my Monster Beats Studios :-) these things sound amazing running off this E17 amplifier. I promise you won't regret this purchase!
