All G2 series subwoofers are equipped with Boston Acoustics specific technologies such as SureSet™ impedance selection that makes wiring easy and accurate as well as adds protection from overdrive to the voice-coil. G2 subs also feature a RadialVent® cooling system that decreases heat dissipation as well as distortion cause by thermal discharge. This improves the subwoofer's ability to perform at higher power handling levels while still producing quality bass output. All G2 series subwoofers feature a co-polymer woofer cone and foam surround for rigidity and increased excursion. I bought two of these subs and put them in the back of my 96 Jeep Cherokee. These subs sound so good with all kinds of music; Rock,Country,Rap, and much more, I'm only running about 250 to each sub. I would say it is one heck of a sub for the money!
