I do recommend this product. It works well and allows me to power both a GPS and radar detector in my car. My only complaint is that the socket adaptor fits somewhat loosely into the car socket. I didn't realize this at first and found that my devices weren't working because the adapter had lost contact with the car socket. Now I make certain to reseat the adaptor every once in a while.

I used this to power an inverter that ran at 200watts, and this thing handled it alright. I expected to blow a fuse or something, and it worked good. I would recommend this for higher than normal current applications, or for high-draw devices like a computer.

This is a great product...Allowed me to plug in my Radar Detector and Cell Phone. Easy installation and great product...couldnt be happier.

This is great if you only have one plug you can use. This is really easy to use and works great.

i installed one of these in my buddies ranger and it works perfect no over heating just a good ole cigarete lighter power supply the install is so very easy.
