Our mill has an oversized, magnum, chamber for salt / pepper or spices. Its virtually indestructible and while it is built to last, it also looks and feels great to use. Because your kitchen prep area is often a potential source of food borne germs, (FDA/CDC highly recommend all kitchen prep tools are thoroughly washed in hot soapy water) we designed our mill to be fully washable, with watertight, o-ring seals and a patented door that shuts off the mechanism from moisture and at the same time stops grinds from leaking out. Its wide, rubber, base keeps the grinder mechanism out of counter spills, while offering chefs a sure, ergonomic grip.
