If you want 12awg wire, look elsewhere. The jacket on this wire is huge, and the wire itself measures only about 0.05" on my calipers - almost exactly what 16awg wire measures. No wonder it's so cheap. My Stinger 12awg wire measures about 0.08" on my calipers.
That said, it's a decent deal even for 16-ga wire, just know that's what you'll be getting.

This is not 12 gauge wire. Its a cheap monoprice look a like.

Cheap wire, but for 100 feet for 15 bucks you really cant go wrong. definitely not true 12 more like 14 or 16 gauge, but it work for almost all aplications
