Bring the luxury of XM radio inside your car and prepare for an entirely new musical experience. The Pioneer GEX-P920XM is the add-on tuner module and antenna that will allow select Pioneer and Pioneer Premier headunits to receive digital XM signals. By simply plugging in a few cables and mounting the antenna, your Pioneer stereo will be able to receive the satellite broadcasts. The package comes with everything that you need to do the installation, however you will also need a subscription with the XM radio company to complete the reception of the XM radio stations. The intelligent system will allow the user to view all the digital data that is transmitted with the song, such as the artist, track name, album, and any other digital information that the stations send. On most of the newer Pioneer stereos, the 16-character display will inform the user of the sing information. Easy to install, works like it should. Kind of bulky but depending on your vehicle there should be room under the center console. Sometimes it will lose signal completely, but turning the deck off/on again seems to reset this unit. Would recommend.

i ended up buying another one of these for a friends car. the reception is better than the through fm models, the install is a breeze (t-tap your cigarette outlet for the power if needed).
easily fit underneith my headunit on my 2002 GMC sonoma

I couldn't find in Canada anywhere but was very happy to be able to find from Sonic. I paired with the AVH-P2400BT and have no issues. Signal is good, easy to install, and the footprint is small enough. Price seems a bit steep but I couldn't live without it.

The XM receiver was very easy to install and works excellent. I only listen to XM Radio and this unit works flawless.
