The product is specific for my GMC ENVOY XUV. I had tried wireless Bluetooth and it was not compatible with the computer system. This product is compatible and works great.

Good Value, but has a couple issues...

November 18, 2010

Easy install, does as advertised. I have an '04 GMC Sierra. 2 issues. When the ignition key is turned off, the PAC unit turns off, but the GM radio remains on, (as most GM cars do) until you exit the car. Thus during this time period, a short "hash" noise is emitted from the speakers that is actually distorted audio bleeding over from the XM radio. Also for those with a GM rear entertainment system, this will not allow independent listening of 2 different sources between the front and rear passengers anymore.

Because it seems like a cheap/easy way to hook up an AUX cable to my 2003 Tahoe.
Brandon W on Nov 5, 2014
Would this be compatible with a 2003 Chevy Malibu as a plug and play? Not sure if my vehicle has the proper input slot, although the specs seem to indicate it does?

Best Answer: Hello ,

Being that your vehicle is listed, the easy answer is Yes. However, as specified in the description "Can only be used in vehicles equipped with a factory slave unit (external CD player, XM tuner or external single CD player). If the vehicle is not equipped with a factory slave unit then you must use the ISGM535." . Please plan accordingly and/or contact tech support for more information:

Is this input compatible with the Bose surround sound on a 2003 Trailblazer LT?
chandler f on Jun 10, 2015
Best Answer: Yes but only if you have factory XM radio or a factory rear seat DVD player. This unit plugs into the source connectors for those options so it will not work without them. Some OEM radios have a button that says XM but they do not have the tuner for it so the XM does not function. Those will not work.
