Sorry! These are really junk!

February 12, 2013

I purchased 12 or 13 of these for our school. The teachers send the children to reading centers everyday and the one station is listen to cassettes or CD's with books. We had these Colby CD/Cassette players for less than 5 months and 9 out of 12 broke in some way. Many ate the tapes. We had to reorder a more expensive brand for the teachers. So, if you want a CD/Cassette player that gets daily use by children, this is NOT the product for you.
