I liked CX-CD400 the only problem when it came it was black so from looking at the picture that it was going to be silver. It was a Christmas gift for someone else. I wanted one for myself but I did not want it in black

This is not a bad machine for the money. It was fairly easy to put together, although the instructions were not much help. There are two things that I don't like about it. One is that the speaker wires come out of their places rather easily and the other is that you cannot (or at least I cannot) start a CD from the beginning. You have to skip back to the first track, which is a bit time consuming.
