The Alpine RUE-4202 wireless remote control allows easy operation for compatible Alpine receivers. The RUE-4202 is perfect if you lose the one that was included with your unit or you're in need of the "optional" remote! The RUE-4202 controls all basic receiver functions, and runs on two "AAA" batteries (not included). A convenient plastic mounting cradle and self-adhesive tape is included. Dimensions: 1-11/16"W x 4-7/8"L x 15/16"D.

Great little remote for the money! I enjoy not having to rub the paint off the buttons on my HU. Very durable, Ive dropped it out of my lifted truck countless time and it hasn't quit working yet so it gets 5 stars in the category.
I only have 2 cons. First one is SQ settings (besides Volume) I would have liked to be able to control my subwoofer level and tweak other SQ settings from it. Second is the distance in which the remote works, maybe only about 12 feet or so.
But it is definitely worth the money, especially at SonicElectronix.com

Works great with my Alpine 9883R headunit!! Better than erasing the little lettering on the HU...
And it's amazing using a remote in a car!!!
