Remote Start Car Alarm

Remote Start

Allows a vehicles engine to active without physical contact from the user. This feature is useful for warming up your vehicles engine and transmission to operational temperatures. In cold climates you can have your interior hot or in warm climates you can cool it down before use. All of this can be done while in the comfort of your home or office.

Rechargeable Remote

Rechargeable Remote

Going through batteries can end up being a costly endeavor. A rechargeable remote allows for more powerful transmitters and additional functions such as touch screen remotes and full color displays. These transmitters will remain at a consistent voltage during the discharge cycle to keep all functions working. With hundreds of recharges available, you save money on replacement batteries.

One Mile Range

One Mile Range

Operate functions of your alarm or remote start system and receive notifications from up to a mile away. Utilize necessary vehicle functions from great distances for convenience and versatility. Forget to lock your car? Lock it from in your office, at the mall or in class. Know if your vehicle is being tampered with wherever you are.

Keyless Entry

Keyless Entry

Performs lock and unlock tasks without physical contact with the vehicle. Power door locks can be controlled from several feet away or even within a building using a remote fob. The fob emits a radio frequency that is digitally encoded to prevent frequency stealing so no one can enter into your vehicle without your wireless transmitter.

Dual Zone Shock Sensor

Dual Zone Shock Sensor

This shock sensor utilizes warning chirps for minor disturbances and will trip the alarm if it detects more serious impacts or disruptions. Most dual zone shock sensors have adjustable sensitivity to reduce false alarms or warnings. These sensors let would-be thieves know that your vehicle is equipped with an advanced alarm system and to keep away.

Dedicated Trunk Release

Dedicated Trunk Release

This unit comes with trunk release capability and remote control integration for OEM alarm or add-on trunk release systems. Pop your trunk using your remote transmitter for convenience and ease of use. Carrying a handful of groceries? Arms tied up with luggage? Pop the trunk without using your key so it’s open and waiting for you when you arrive.

Color LCD Remote

Color LCD Remote

View commands and confirmations in full color on your remote transmitter. Color LCD remotescan display more information on the screen at one time keeping you up to date on all aspects of your vehicle.Intuitive color interfaces make remote commands and feedback easy to understand while maintaining the elegance and style of color.

2-Way Paging

2-Way Paging

Send commands to your remote start or alarm system and receive confirmation that those commands were carried out. Obtain updates on your vehicles security status and get driver pages on the remote. If your vehicle is being tampered with, your remote transmitter will warn you and set off the vehicles alarm.

The remote start system supplies the vehicle with power and simulates a start just as if you were inside using the key. Select vehicles require additional accessories or immobilizer/bypass modules to use the remote start feature.

Omega AL-2050 in GMC ENVOY SLT

June 2, 2014

Have always been impressed by Omega security products.
This alarm system was replacing a previous system (not Omega) that consisted of 3 separate components (the alarm itself, a remote start module and a GM Databus module DB-GMDL-BP). This new system allowed the purchase of a pre-programmed OL-BLADE-AL-64 which took care of all interfacing of door-locks, door-open-sense, immobilitzer-keyless-remote-start, dome-lighting, tach-sense, etc. Parking lights need be wired directly. Note, if this system is moved to another vehicle, all that is necessary is re-programming of the BLADE module, NOT repurchasing a new system. The long-range two-way remote says its good for 1 mile but as long as it works from the far depths of the grocery store, I'M HAPPY. The two-way-display remote needs charging about once a month with normal use and it'll let you know when. It charges from a standard mini-usb charger. The remote is customizable if you want to change things like sounds and vibrate on/off. Valet-mode is very easily initiated and defeated with or without the vehicle running. Remote-start run time can be as long as 20-minutes and cranking-length is adjustable too. In fact, there are many customizable options that are easily achieved. ONE BIG NOTE: The default option for parking-lights during remote-start is FLASHING and I suggest you change this as it will probably cause havoc on GM cars causing the parking lights and the low-beams to alternate. Since I have heated seats, I chose to turn that option on and off via toggle switch that I can enable during the winter so that during Remote-Start this option will turn on BOTH heated seats to FULL and have your bum toasty on a cold winter day. If you wire everything up correctly, you can have your vehicle cool-down on a hot day and warm-up on a cold-day. Another Note: on GM vehicles that also have a rear-fuse-block, you'll have to add an additional relay to initiate the power to it during remote-start. If you don't, the BCM(body control module) will malfunction and you might not have window or door-lock controls or something else.

I recommend this alarm system and remote start best alarm system I had. The 2 mile range on this system is the best it actually works at 2 miles which I really wanted I can start my truck from inside my apartment complex. This alarm system has the best features like locking the remote so you don't accidentally turn your truck on and everything is visual on your remote and many more features. If looking for a great system this is it and the price I searched this alarm on other websites and couldn't find anything close to what sonicelectronix had to offer.

My wife's vehicle is a 2005 Suburban. I was trying to determine if this kit will work in her vehicle and if there is anything additional that I will have to purchase separate to install it into her vehicle?
Corey R on Dec 12, 2014
Best Answer: Hello Corey,

The kit will work with the vehicle, and WILL require the Bypass Module that is suggested on the page, the Omega OL-BLADE-AL-64.

I have a 2011 Subaru WRX STI with a manual transmission. is this manual trans compatible and will i need the bypass?
A shopper on Nov 12, 2014
Best Answer: Yes, this is manual trans compatible and the fact its a 2011 I would say you need the bypass. When installed on a manual trans you will have to perform a setup procedure every time you exit the vehicle if you intend to use the remote start. Here is a snippet from the manual.
1)With engine running, hold the brake pedal, apply the parking brake, then release the brake pedal.
2) Use the transmitter as if you were activating remote start (press start twice). the green status light will start flashing slow.
3) Turn off the ignition key and exit the vehicle.
4) Press LOCK on the transmitter. The engine will shutdown (unless turbo timer is on) and the status light will flash green every 2 seconds to indicate it is ready to be remote started.
Note, if you reenter the vehicle after performing this procedure, you will have to perform it again. This insures the vehicle was left in neutral and is safe for remote starting.

Best Answer: Hello,

I am assuming you are referring to the Bypass. Which is VERY unlikely that you will need, considering the year of your vehicle. Needless to say, there is no information about your vehicle, but if we are to use the Mitsubishi as an alternative, they did not need a bypass until the mid 2000s.

For My Scion tc 2007 would this alarm work 100% alone or do i have to buy the Omega OL-BLADE-AL-64?
Omar Z on Nov 7, 2014
Best Answer: It is possible to do an install w/o the blade but if you go to an authorized dealer who installs it also most likely the will sell you the blade because it makes for an easier install... so I say you might as well get the blade now

That is correct, that vehicle will indeed require a bypass; preferably the Omega OL-MDB-ALL.
