True 4 Ohm Impedance

These speakers are specially designed with true 4ohm technology. The impedance of these speakers are 3ohms, but when you pair them with thin factory wiring, the impedance will naturally rise up to a true 4ohms resulting in a maximum amount of power draw from your 4ohm rated factory receiver, aftermarket deck, or external amplifier. Plus One Cone Technology

Each of the Reference X speakers features plus one woofer cone technology. This means the cone has been designed to be slightly larger than comparable speakers, giving you even more output on the same amount of power.
