The ESP AW-7 (Alex Wade) is a 7-string model based on the M Series, with a neck through body design, alder body with flamed maple top with a Blood Red Sunburst finish. The guitar also features DiMarzio pickups and a fixed bridge with string through body and locking tuners.

Neck Design
Neck Design is the way in which the neck is manufactured standard being the most basic, quartersawn is a technique that produces the tightest straightest grain of wood yielding a straighter stronger neck.   It is the same technique used in baseball bat manufacturing.
Neck Composition
The species of wood or material the neck is comprised of.
Neck Shape
The shape in which the neck conforms to the player's hand.
Neck Finish
The finish applied to the guitars neck.
Fretboard Composition
The species of wood or material the Fretboard on the guitar's neck is comprised of.
Scale Length
The distance from the nut to the bridge of the guitar.
Number of Frets
The number of frets on the neck of the guitar.
Fretboard Radius
The fretboard radius is a measurement of the curvature of the fretboard from side to side with the fretboard representing a segment of a circle.   The fretboard radius is the radius of that circle.  The smaller the circle the more dramatic the curvature of the fretboard, the larger the circle the flatter the fretboard.
Joint
The portion of the guitar where the neck meets the body.
Inlay
The often decorative adornment on the fretboard used to designate fret position.

The width of the nut.

The composition or plating of the hardware.
Bridge
The style of apparatus used to attach the strings to the body of the guitar.

Pickup Configuration
The arrangement of pickups on the guitar from bridge to neck. "S" refers to a Single Coil. "H" refers to humbucker.
Controls
The configuration of tone and volume knobs on the guitar.
Pickup Selector
The configuration of the pickup selector. Starting from the bridge to the guitar neck, there are 3-way and 5-way configurations. 3-way refers to position 1 bridge, position 2 middle, and position 3 neck. 5-way refers to position 1 bridge, position 2 bridge + middle, Position 3 middle, position 4 middle + neck, and position 5 neck. The configurations can vary per model and are often customizable.
