An extremely durable, yet lightweight cone is vital to prevent cone failure at high sound pressure levels. Pioneer’s New IMPP Composite Seamless Cones meet this need perfectly while delivering accurate yet powerful bass.
Another world's first from Pioneer. Dramatically improves durability and lightness for superior response, especially for louder volume.
A speaker cone is essential for air to vibrate and carry sound to listeners’ ears. Our Champion Series subwoofer cones have 14% more surface area than conventional subwoofer cones, for louder, better bass reproduction.
Pioneer offers single voice coil and dual voice coil designs. The Dual 4 ohm subwoofer has the flexibility to be wired at 2 or 8 ohms, to get the most from the amplifier. To simplify installation even further, all speaker terminals have been placed on one side of the subwoofer rather than on opposite sides.
The movement of air within the subwoofer is smoothly channeled for optimal ventilation to ensure a quick response and clear reproduction of bass.

Shocked
WOW is all I could think after listening to it the first time. I installed it in a Fiat 500 with a sealed fiberglass box and the sound that comes from it is equal to the JL 12" sub in my other vehicle.

I purchased these to replace a pair of TS-W254R's. Wish I had purchased these 264's first. They sound great and are rated for another 100watts RMS which gives me a little cushion before they cook.

I purchased this subwoofer to replace a JL audio wx series 10. This pioneer is amazing in an enclosed box. Im using a 1600w Autotek mm amplifier at 800w rms . I broke the subwoofer in for about 2 weeks and only have the amp half way up and the spl is fantastic which I am huge on. I would definitely purchase this again. Sonic is great and i received the speaker within a week of ordering it.

Get it. You will not be disappointed unless you are looking for really heavy bass.

I own two of these subs in a ported box in my trunk and they destroy my back they're that good. For the money, you get some really good quality subs. They look, sounds, and taste good.

This sub packs a serious punch as a single 10" package.

Very nice solid bass. A little too tight of a sound in a sealed enclosure of 0.75 cu feet, but can still rumble low, I'm sure it will unleash potential in a ported enclosure (which Pioneer does say is okay to do, recc. at 1.1 cubic feet). Seems to be made of mostly plastic on the entire exterior, but probably helps with the weight of it. Solid product that can kick hard and fill up my entire chevy impala.

I bought three of these to put in my Chevy Avalanche to replace a pair of shallow MB Quart 10's I had under the back seat. Built a custom midgate replacement box sealed at 0.97 cubic feet per chamber and have them hooked up to an MB Quart 450 watt rms amp and WOW!!! These Pioneer subs are loud, low and hit hard. Way under powered by the way at around 150 watts each. I know the box is a big part of that. Can't wait to upgrade my amp to see how much better they'd sound. Definately recommend them and for all you Avalanche owners: ditch the shallow under the seat subs and get a midgate box. Pain in the butt but worth it if you like bass!
