Awesome Pioneer deck
This thing is really cool, especially for only $140. I really like the illumination change feature, where you can pick or make your own colors for the display, and the button lights on the deck any way you want. It has all the nice features you need for fine tuning the sound, like the Low freq cut off for your speakers, so not to play too low of notes. Helps with reducing distortion. You have the 5 band equalizer that really helps fine tune what you want to hear. You have the blue tooth capabilities which is pretty cool for streaming pandora from your phone, or music in general. It also comes with a little microphone for the blue tooth that you hook up to your steering column so when people call, you can talk into it. It works alright, sometimes people can't hear me so well, but with all the road noise from my old 90 Corolla, it doesn't surprise me. And also, the 3 4v outputs on the back allow you to add amplifiers in for your speakers, and a subwoofer if you choose.
I would say, the only cons is that it doesn't have HD radio. I got this one not caring much, because I never listen to the radio anyway. I also got it because it has Android hookup capability for Pandora. But then when you hook your phone up that way, it wont allow you to change Pandora stuff from your phone, and it gets confusing because there's no way to like or dislike a song. From what I can tell, you can only skip songs. BUT, if you just use the blue tooth hook up only, it actually works better so you control everything from your phone, and can still change the song with the buttons on the deck.
So all in all, it's definitely worth the money. It's not hard to use, looks really good, and has good features. If you want HD radio, and basically the same deck but dont care about Android hook up, I would get the "Pioneer DEH-P8400BH".

found this helpful.Awesome radio!!!
Incredible value! For $160 it has CD-R/W, MP3/AAC reader, USB port, SiriusXM control, Bluetooth, AUX jack for iPod, 3 preamp out, hi/low pass filters, multiple color choices and much more. The only thing I don't like about it is the detachable face with its tuner knob stick out quite a bit from the body of the HU, so I can't pull down the radio cover of my Audi TT. I still highly recommend it!

Sound is very good, bluetooth works great. usb reader is very poor, you cannot sort by title because it uses the file allocation table on the flash drive to read files. no option to turn off the button beep. tuner is good but you cannot program your favorite stations, it makes a list for you and it sorts that list by signal force not even by station order

found this helpful. As expected, excellent head unit, fast shipping.
This bluetooth car audio head unit outperformed my expectations. Couldn't be happier, fast shipping, easy install, 10 out of 10. May order another for the hot rod if I decide to put music in it. I gave it 4 stars on ease of use because if this is your first pioneer media device there is a bit of a learning curve, but that is due to the superior quality and control they offer. Once you figure out how all the adjustments work and what they do you'll always buy pioneer.
