General Features

Number of Discs
The number of discs that the unit can store internally. The discs can be accessed quickly and sometimes from a remote source.
Replacement/Additional Magazines
These are the replacement magazines for select CD Changers.
Vertical Mounting
Some units will allow them to be mounted vertically. Not only does this save space, but it can make the use of the unit more convenient.
CD Changer Output
This is the connection that the CD changer uses to send its signal to the receiver. Some CD Changer will use regular RCA composite cables.

Other CD Changers will use a brand specific IP-Bus cable. Usually these CD changers require a receiver of the same brand.

Oversampling
Oversampling is used to achieve a cheaper, high-resolution conversion. Oversampling means creating more samples from a waveform than what has been recorded.
CD Text
The receiver can display disc and song title information contained on CD-Text encoded discs.
ESP
ESP stands for Electronic Skip Protection. It is a type of memory buffer system that results in a interruption free playback of CDs.

Audio Playback

CD

MPEG-1 (VCD)
The unit will play Video Compact Discs (VCD). VCD are videos that are stored on regular compact discs (CD) and use a MPEG-1 compression.
MPEG-2 (SVCD)
The unit will play Super Video Compact Discs (SVCD). SVCD are videos that are stored on a regular compact disc(CD) and use a MPEG-2 compression.
AVI
Developed by Microsoft in 1992, the Audio Video Interleave is also known as AVI. AVI files are video files mixed with an audio track that plays in unison.
MPEG-4
The unit will play MPEG-4 files.

Creative, but unfortunately No. The CD60 uses a Proprietary connection, intended to be plugged into a compatible Custom Auto Sound headunit.
