I bought this from Sonic Electronix just before they stopped selling these older models, and this thing is loud, I also have 2 12" Kicker Comp and this single sub blows them away, I matched it up with a Kicker ZX750.1 and wired it down to 2 ohms and in a prefab ported box I got from my local Stereo West store. I would recommend this product but they do not sell it anymore, but seeing as how the newer models are even better if you have the money I would definitely pick one up.

I'm running 2 CVX-15 4ohm speakers parallel bridged in my 07' Avalanche ported box built to speaker spec. according to kicker. I'm using a Pioneer PRS-D2000SPL 4000 Watt amp which rates at 2000RMS at 1 ohm. Which is the perfect combination for this set up seeing how my speakers rate at 1000RMS at 1 ohm. Plenty off power out of this amp to do the job. I had the box custom built and everything was professionally installed. Very crisp clean sound thats suitable for soft eleagate bass but can be cranked up using its bass control knob when listening to hard rock or rap.

I just put two of these in my 04 civic with a fiberglass sealed enclosure. Wow. i got a 1500 watt soundstream amp hooked up to them... they're getting a seriously clean 750+rms each and they hit lows like you wouldnt believe. Power them properly and get them in a big enclosure and you won't be disappointed. Oh and when you have more than one of these (big amp drawing alot of power), you should upgrade your battery, because mine died in about 2 months. (Get a red-top optima battery)
I pound them real loud all day every day (i deliver pizza) and they take it no problem. Great subs
