Great headphones at a great price
I bought these headphones for $100. At that price, they are a steal. Sound quality is excellent. I'm not an audiophile by any means, but I would classify the sound as clear and crisp. Vocals are clear, bass levels are right where I like them (probably a little on the low side for bass enthusiasts).
Another plus for these things is style. I wanted headphones that had great sound, yet I could use outside and look presentable. That ruled out some higher priced alternatives.
Overall, these are great headphones. I probably would've paid another $50 or more for these and still have been satisfied.

I have owned various sets of headphones for years. But, I was not going to spend over $100 for headphones that really didn't sound that great In my opinion I believe that most electronics devices are way overpriced. I saw all of the positive reviews for this product so I gave them a try. They really have a nice clean sound from ample bass, smooth mids and crisp highs. This is a great buy for$99.You won't be disappointed. And since Sonic Electronix is an authorized dealer, you don't have to worry about purchasing FAKES.

I've had these for over a month now and the thing I find is these headphones do well if the music you're listening to is properly balanced. It picks up highs and mids pretty well. It's not too bassy and not too high, it's just well balanced. I love them, I'm happy with this purchase.

I bought this one in Thanksgiving period for just $90. No comments on quality but perfect! A really good entry level monitoring headphone.

I bought these headphones for my son who actually wanted Dr Dre beats … until we both did some research and found out that while Dr Dre rarely made any major lists of good quality headphones, the Audio Technica's were almost always there. We're both glad we chose this model. The sound quality that comes from the headphones is excellent and the "cool factor" of how he looks with them either on, or hanging around his neck is just what he was looking for. :-) The best part is they were less than half the price of Dr Dre. His friends have all asked "where'd you get those awesome headphones?", which just goes to show you don't have to buy the most expensive product out there to impress your friends.
Not only do these headphones have great sound but they are comfortable to wear for extended periods of time. The only draw back I have seen is that the cord is a little long but that's minor.
Overall this is a really nice product offered at a very competitive price and well worth the money spent on them.

I've let these babies burn for about a month now and they sound better every day. Spent a lot of time trying to find the right pair of headphones for my:
Music Preference:
EDM, trance, vocal trance, and the likes of Armin Van Buuren, Hardwell, Tiesto, Guetta, Avicii, Sebastian Ingrosso, Krewella, Madeon, Etc.
If you like that kind of music, these headphones are fantastic. I enjoy all genres of music on these actually.
Style Preference:
These headphones are very stylish (especially in red) and I find myself getting complimented daily on their appearance.
Fit on my head:
I have a huge head (size 8 in 59fifty hats) and was worried about these fitting. No problem at all.
Some other pairs I considered:
Beats (too pricey/ didn't like them in store)
Sol Republics (on ear were uncomfortable)
BOTTOM LINE: you can't find much better quality headphones for this price. Get these.

Always heard about the ATH-M50 headphones but never got around to buying a pair, until now. After briefly owning Beats Studio, which had extremely inaccurate bass, really flabby upper bass with NO depth, and ho-hum highs, I immediately sent them back for a deserved refund. It should be against the law to sell those at that price.
The AT's became available at SE for a surprising and attractive price, I was disappointed with the Beats and I thought, "Why not, it's time I bought a pair and have a listen."
Ha! Smooth, accurate balanced sound. If the recording has GOOD bass material, you'll HEAR it with these, and LOW bass, not that flabby crap. Listen to some Stanley Clark, or the Telarc recording of the 1812 Overture...with Howitzers. Yeah buddy!
