Distribution Block Specifications

Distribution Block Type
This specifies what the intended use of the distribution block is. Fused distribution blocks are intended to be used with the power wire and the fuse acts as a short-circuit or surge protection so your amplifier is not as likely to be damaged. Non-fused distribution blocks can used with ground or power wire connections, but the protection on power wire connections will not be present as there is no fuse in the distribution block. Therefore, we recommend your amplifier has an external fuse for short-circuit or surge protection. When using either type of distribution block, it is recommended to use a main fuse holder within 18 inches of the battery.

This distro block was well thought out and performed perfectly. I especially like the MANL fused easily accessible. I also like the "screw-through-screw design. You could use an allen wrench(good luck finding the right size. I do not recommend this method.) Or u could use a flathead or even a philips I think. My preference was a PENNY TO TIGHTEN THE SCREWS. Too bad I tighten one of the input screws and it broke right off. Bummer. Still like the product tho. Compact, tough, looks cool, screw holes to mount on sumtin

Product does its intended job. Be very careful not to overtighten with this product. The plastic cover broke on me but whatever. Tape hinge on the inside.

do you need to use both inputs?
demyan d on Jul 21, 2015
Best Answer: You do not need to use both power inputs. Both inputs are connected on one solid bar. I used one large cable from the battery into this and 3 of the outputs to each amp. just remember to buy the proper sized fuses for each of the amps. The outputs are not connected together like the inputs.
