I used this in my 2011 Subaru Impreza WRX STi for my aftermarket radio. The usb no longer worked when I put my new kenwood headunit in and this is exactly what I needed to get it back, now all I need a cable for the aux jack! :p Plus it literally only took 2 minutes to install!!! :D

Installed in my 2012 Subaru Forester with an aftermarket head unit to use existing USB port in boot. Connects perfectly and I've had no issues with it. The stock USB port works just like it did with the original head unit.
