Mind blown!
I actually have the BI.122 version of this sub which the only difference in the ohms of the voice coils. My first review was using a single BI.122 on a Polk Audio 5000.5 which is a five channel amp with an RMS of 500 watts at one ohm. I thought that sounded as good or better than the old DXI I replaced. The reason I am rating this sub again is because I ordered a second B.122 and have them in a 4 cubic foot shared enclosure tuned at 33hz, I am pushing them on a Rockford Fosgate T1000-1bd @ 2 ohms which is rated at 650rms.
These subs wake up in a big way with 2cuft per sub tuned at 33hz. The way these subs slam tight and crisp double bass drums playing Unfurling a darkened gospel is amazing, precise and accurate that hits you in the chest. They also love the low notes from bass I love you and anything with 30-45hz bass lines, they have slammed everything with authority and clarity I have put to them. Dubstep, Rap, Metal, Classical, no problem! The ONLY reservations I have about these subs are the actual power handling. They are 500rms each and I am pushing a rated 650 with the gain only half way up and punch eq a little less than that and they look like they are about to jump out of their baskets. I did smell one getting a little hot but that may have been due to clipping since I haven't properly set the gains for distortion and was using a cheap head unit. Either way you won't find a harder hitting clean quality sounding sub in the $70 price range IMHO and I have had many. These subs are just awesome for their price. I have pounded the first sub every day at 500rms for about two months and it's still as tight as day one.

This sub is defiantly exceeding all my expectations.
I have owned many subs since I was a youth, and have had the opportunity to experience "high end", "low end" as well as "middle" type speakers, but now days I do not need a high end sub as I no longer do competitions.
I purchased this just to add a little bottom end to one of my cars, but what this sub did was rattle everything in my car, make my chest thump, and grab attention from people down the street. Impressive this is. I actually had to turn the gain down on the amp, as well as install a separate gain dial just to lower the amount of bass.
In my system I have a amp that pushes 500 watt rms at 2 ohm, I have this sub wired for 2 ohm service, and at full rms it is very hardcore. Not exccesive heating, no burning of the coil what so ever.
This setup is in a small sealed box so as to be able to be removed if the wife and I choose the car for our long haul travels, yet to this day have been able to leave it installed. And yet even in a approx 2.5 sq ft box it hits deep notes and hits hard, I would have preferred a ported box, but that would have taken a little more space that I did not feel was needed once I heard the sound in the sealed box. For maximum sound and physical "thump" feeling, I placed the box in the center of my trunk with the sub itself facing my trunk latch direction. This is installed in a 95 Cadillac fleetwood so plenty of space for the bass to reverberate and amplify.
Great subwoofer, I suggest it to anyone, and it is extremely worth the price.
