Great Value for a Basic Alarm System
I was looking for a basic alarm to install in my Jeep to encourage the hood-rats to keep-on walking. Didn't need the keyless entry or any other features. This one fit the bill nicely and works pretty much like the factory installed alarms on newer vehicles, using the vehicles horn instead of a siren, The system is fairly expandable, so you can add a siren or other features if you wish. Installation was pretty straightforward, and like everything made by Directed, it does exactly what it's supposed to do straight out of the box. I wired it, plugged it in, adjusted the shock sensor and it was good to go. The only discrepancy I noted was the specs on Sonic Electronics website said the status indicator LED was blue, but mine is red. This was not an issue at all with me.
To sum it up: This was a great value, exactly what I was looking for, and Sonic had it on my doorstep in three working days. Will definitely do business with these guys again.

Not much to say but it works. It does not come with a siren which was my only con but everything else was good. Installed on an F-150. Nice price and reliable brand so I'll definitely keep buying from Sonic.
