Solid amp, the bass controller is a plus. Not every song requires high bass notes so this is nice to have if you wanna turn it down/up. It is very well made and has not overheated on me yet. I live in Hell (Phoenix, Arizona) we see 130 degree heat as a high and like 110 normal in summer i mounted this in my trunk and I havent had a problem yet. If you are looking for a nice amp this is it, if you are looking for some crazy SPL thing dont bother. With sonic prices I haven't found this amp cheaper anywhere else, good value/price.

I bought this amp as a temporary setup. I'm running four MTX 5x7's and two kenwood 12's. Sounds great, clear and loud. Bass sounds good too, good amp on a budget.

This amplifier is a real workhorse for the price paid. Does not get too warm & have yet to have it shutdown on me from jammin it for hours. I am running 4 Alpine SPR-60 6-1/2 @ 60 RMS each & a single Kicker C104 (10C104) overpowered by 80 watts RMS running at 230 RMS total @ 4 ohms. I have been running the amplifier & gear for about 2 months or so now without problem as mentioned earlier in this review. I have the gear in a 1997 Nissan Pathfinder & it sounds terrific in my opinion. The amplifier is definitely worth every penny I am completely satisfied with my amplifier choice. If you are looking for a 5 channel amplifier that packs a descent punch @ an affordable price than look no farther you have found your new 5 channel amplifier. I have no plans on replacing my amplifier anytime soon will be keeping it until it cooks.

If you are looking for a clear power boost, this is the amp for you. I did not need a crazy amount of power for my car but this amp provided enough power to hear everything in my music. You can hear every instrument in the band and not just a loud blur. Matched it to the rest of the components and it was perfect.

First amp blew right away, didn't even crank the volume. Given I don't live in the states the warranty shipping is on me and it was a third the cost of a new one.
Second amp arrives and it works but it has way too much noise in the channels. Some noise filters cure most of that - add that expense to the cost of using this thing. The new amps bass control does not work, and lastly the gain knobs do not work properly. Do I care to get it fixed? Nope, I am sick of dealing with it and find its best to just leave around as a constant reminder to make better decisions on my purchases.

I purchased this product to replace two large and older amps that were taking up too much room in my car. I was on a budget and knew full well that the industry standard is to pay $1/watt. This rings in hundreds of dollars below and I wasn't expecting amazing sound quality. Hookup was easy and straightforward, and everything seems to work well.
When setting the gain, I used test tones and found clipping to occur at rather low volumes (relatively speaking). In addition, my main gain is at about the halfway mark, but the sub gain and bass boost are completely down to zero - it seems to put out a ton of bass signal to the sub. Finally, there is a loud humming through some of the cables which did not exist previously. The amp and all the wires are in the exact same place as the previous amp, so I'm not sure what's going on with that. I resolved it with a noise filter, except for a super high pitched sequel that comes on when the AC kicks in. Cannot get rid of that one.
I would recommend only if you are willing to sacrifice on sound quality for the sake of budget.

I picked this amp obviously because it was way cheaper than any of the other 5 channel amps. I am powering all 4 speakers and a sub. Its small enough to be able to be secured on top of my sub box, which I like. The gain and hpf adjustments are hard to set, but Install was very easy, although there is a steady buz sound from the speakers that can be heard whenever the music is low or turned off. Ive made sure the wires are correctly attached and that there was proper grounding. Ill continue to troubleshoot and update once I figure out the problem.

I bought this amp while replacing the sound system in my 98 BMW 323. It now powers 2 - Pioneer TS-D1320C(overwatt) 5.25", 2 - Pioneer TS-A6965R 6x9", and an old Audiobahn 400w sub that I can't even remember the model number of. Driving this is a Pioneer DEH-X7500S. Car sounds good, I'm surprised how much bass from the sub came through the notoriously sealed trunk. I don't listen to radio or CD's but from my Zune and I can hear a bit of hiss from the speakers between songs I think this is a sound volume problem as the his goes away when I turn the Zune's volume down.
Compared to it's competitors in the same price range this Amp looks so much better without all that crap on it(led's, clear plastic...)
Features wise I would have liked to see some better markings for adjust gain more accurately, this also affected my Ease of Use score because it's a bit harder to tune than a 2 channel amp.
