Hope you didnt buy into the big jam box fad!
If you bought in to the whole Jam Box thing I feel very sorry for you. I knew it was only a matter of time before some REAL SPEAKER COMPANIES made a nice portable wireless bluetooth speaker. I guess I would consider that about the same as someone buying into the whole "b" logo on your headphones. did either one of those original companies know much about headphones? NO, and a cell phone accessory company doesnt know much about making speakers either! HA
On to whats important..... Klipsch KMC 3. I first saw this on a video highlight from CES this year. It looked like it would blow all of those imitation brands out of the water! Well, the Klipsch Logo alone would do that, but nonetheless, this product certainly lived up to the expectations. I really like the white finish. It looks clean, and high-end. The sound is nothing short of what you would expect from some Klipsch Reference speakers. Incredible!!!!!! Well worth the wait!

I use this in my bedroom to wirelessly stream everything from my macbook or iphone (I promise I'm not a mac snob, that's just what I happen to own). It pairs instantly with both and hasn't lost signal as far as 30 feet away or so. I would imagine any other bluetooth ready device would accomodate just as easily. I primarily use it for music but for podcasts, movies, etc. as well. I am a bit of an audio snob and the reality of compression loss from bluetooth streaming is something that's not easy for me to accept (of course you always have the option to use aux), however, this unit produces an incredibly warm and accurate soundstage notwithstanding - warm bass, clear mids, and crisp highs. I would expect nothing less out of Klipsch, though, to be honest. I would recommend using an equalizer app with your phone or computer for best results. I use Boom for mac and it greatly increased fidelity, I've never used the speaker for tailgating or the beach, but, to be honest, I don't think the outdoor portability of this speaker is something I will take advantage of much. For one, it's BIG, but I take this as a positive as it couldn't push out such a large sound otherwise, But, perhaps more importantly, I would worry about sand and other detritus touching this sexy beast; this is a showcase piece in my opinion and should rest in the sanctity of your home. It's still nice to have the portable option, however, and I have read that its battery life is a solid 20 hours plus, which is fair in my book. The hefty price tag on this had me second guessing the purchase initially, but for anyone that is serious about clarity could surely find justification quickly, There's really not a day that goes by that I don't employ it in one capacity or another. If you're considering a large bluetooth speaker, I couldn't recommend this more. Klipsch is a company renowned for its engineering, whereas, some other options, like the large jam box, don't carry that same clout. Someone may very well debate me on that, but just as I wouldn't buy a gps from sony over tom tom, I stick to those who have cultivated themselves within that particular industry.
As far as Sonic Electronix goes, I couldn't be happier. I initially bought an open box version. They called me an hour or so later to apologize that they did not actually have it in stock and thus gave me a completely new one for the same reduced price. You gotta respect that. Dispatched immediately and has been crashing waves between my bedroom walls since. Essential for those with a discerning ear or even a rudimentary appreciation of sound. If you have a bit of scratch to throw around and are in the market for such a device then I wouldn't suggest looking elsewhere.

Well thought out. Great design. Even the box is functional for strorage & portability. The sound is superb! Bass is strong. Voices & mid-range are true & clear. Highs are crisp. My only criticism is that the remote control doesn't always work on all functions. It'll pause but not play again from the remote.
