Surprising!

These are great! These speakers are an unbelievable value!! On paper they look great, but cheap speakers that look good on paper don't always sound good. They actually sound really good. very sensitive, so it doesn't take a lot to get em going. They have great bass response, but not real low down, so definitely get subs if you want to thump. They rumble my civic a little, but it should be more than enough for most people.

I put these speakers in my 1995 Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera. Out of the box, I must say I was pretty impressed with the design and solid structure of the speakers. The only thing missing from the box that one might expect from a new set of speakers was a wiring harness, which can easily be solved with some crimping wire connectors. The fidelity of the speakers them selves is amazing especialy compared to the "premium" speakers that came with the car. The only troubles that I have had with the speakers are: 1. Their inability to handle 10db gain of Bass (7 or 8 is safe). And 2. These speakers are virtually not mountable if you plan to mount below the rear deck. This installation method is uncommon, but with my Cutlass it was required. There was a great deal of manipulation required.(i.e. removing particle board and expanding a factory 5x8 hole to a 6x9 hole) In summation, I would recommend these speakers to just about everyone, except for the bass junky, you'll get accurate bass and a great visual "bump", but it will not replace a sub in the trunk.

speakers are good price for quailty

Installed these speakers on the back of my dodge. Sound kicka**. Way better than my cheap cardboard cone! Magnet isn't as big as it looks. Some cheap plastic cover. So far everything is good! Highly recommanded!!!!!!!!!! High end sound for cheap price!!

Great value speaker

I just installed these in the doors of my Nissan Titan. Outstanding sound, much better than the factory speakers. Nice detail, accurate base and overall pleasant sounding.
