Ran two of these in a Obcon prefab sealed dual hatchback box (.88cu ft. per sub - no polyfil) in an Accord trunk firing back. First on Sony XM-D9001GTR D-class @2ohms, and then later, on an old school Lanzar 200.2 a/b class (ZED designed/built) bridged -which brought them out even more. These subs are very clean sounding and accurate. They hit all the bass notes on "Still Fly" by Big Tymers, which is not common for a lot of subs to be able to do. Whenever I told people they were Sony, the reaction was usually shock and awe. Put these in any box +/-10% recommended cu. ft. and you're in for a treat. Sony often gets a bad knock, but they really do make some solid car audio products. Oh, I am upgrading to 4 of the new Sony XS-GSW121's. If you don't like the cosmetics of these, check those out. The frequency response is also better on them as they go down to 20hz (as opposed to these which roll off at 35hz). Also, the really great thing about the Sony subs these days is that they have some of the lowest airspace requirements on the market, so you can actually mount them out of the way or stealth to keep more trunk space. But...also great if you want to cram more subs into any given space. :)
