LOUD
Have this on a hifonics Brutus at 1000 watts and it takes it like its nothing. The fact that this sub is rated so conservatively means you can put ALOT of power through it. Mine is in a ported enclosure and it hits hard and LOW. I've seen videos of it in sealed boxes hitting those low notes well under 30 hertz too. This thing is a low end monster and for $215 you cant go wrong. Highly recommend 10/10
Note: this gets loud so I recommend upgrading your factory speakers. I have the skar 6.5 inch coax speakers and they do a great job of keeping the highs and mids up to par with the bass of this massive subwoofer

Can Really handle a lot of power. My only problem is I was pushing on spl 6000 mono probably running like 1000-1200 rms on one at one ohm an I burned it up after like 2 weeks of playing. It was pounding hard an hit low bass though.

I am writing this review on the 12" and 15" models because I purchased the final 10" VVX V2 woofer that SonicElectronix had. This woofer, from unboxing, blew my expectations away in just about EVERY way! From the 180oz magnet (on all three sizes) to its incredible surround and ridged dust cap, to its woven leads and underrated power handling, this woofer is a BEAST. It weighs in at right around 27lbs for the 10" and out preforms just about every woofer I have had. I have owned many sets of Kicker L7 12" and 15" systems, Alpine Type R, and most recently, a Kicker CWR, which, couldnt handle the 600w RMS that it was rated at from a POWERBASS amp. THIS woofer, however, exceeded all expectations. It took the 600w rms from the powerbass like it was nothing. At this point, I have only had this woofer for a day, but after observing its performance for a few hours, especially compared to my previous L7 and Type R systems, I think I will be hooked on the SKAR brand from now on. It is quite literally COMPETITION GRADE CONSTRUCTION FOR MID RANGE MAINSTREAM PRODUCT PRICES. If you want something that you KNOW will take a beating and be worth EVERY penny, buy this woofer in any size without hesitation!!!!
