Excellent stereo
Was plug and play all steering wheel controls work, good sound easy interface to use lots of options, gps has a lot of customization to it but is not voice controlled, if it was this would be a 5 star rating
Very happy with the purchase worth the price for the easy interface into the vehicle.
Factory look with all the extras.

This is an honest 6 month review. This product would be great if it actually worked as advertised.
I installed this myself. it was fairly simple plug and play operation. It looks like its a factory install. There was an apparent option to change the car-show splash screen to the one you like. I went on splashscreen.rosen.com and the website is crappy. It would not let you download the file. You need a micro SD card to install the splash screen, yet there was no slot outside on the front, or the back of the actual unit. So that is not something possible on this one.
Next, there are features missing in this unit. SonicElectronix claims that this unit plays MP4 Videos. When I tried it it said the file is not supported.
The user manual shows brightness settings for the hardware button's illumination. Yet there is no setting in there. When it first turns on they are nice and bright and then go dim. During night time you can not see these buttons. There is a whole topic about this unit on clubnissan forums. Some people were able to change colors, illumination brightness of the buttons and for some, they are in the same boat as me. The plastic is not very durable and easily gets scratched around the unit's face so be careful.
Navigation works great! However, when you get a call, if you use steering button, it takes you to the phone screen instead of sticking on to the navigation settings. The map updates is a whole another issue. Certain streets need to be updated which have changed from whenever this map pack was installed. No directions were recieved for updating maps. Tried using Naviextras.com website which is suggested by rosen. Could not figure out update for the map. Also it is ridiculous to have to pay additional 50$ for updating maps as the latest update should have already came with the unit.
It is NOT WORTH THE $600+ PRICE TAG IT COMES WITH!

You would think in 2015 paying $750-800 for a car unit it would come with some sort of modern operating system underneath (or Android which is free). Nope, WindowsCE which is about ten years past end of life.
Rosen has a website where you can customize the boot screen, but of course when you go through the customization and download the files, it sends a BLANK .ini file, making it useless to try to install.
My unit came with Q1 2012 maps (in November of 2015) and there are NO FREE UPDATES. Just the privilege of paying an additional $70 to naviextras.com to get modern maps.
The install was pretty easy in my Altima, and the look is dead on sharp. But this might be better utilized as an anchor for your bass boat, as a car system it is a giant fail.
