I own a 2011 f150. I previously owned a 15" kicker L5 sub(750wrms) that I had installed in a groundshaker enclosure I bought from sonic. As You can imagine I had to fold up both back seats to fit this in the cab. This thing was a beast! However I wanted my backseats back and I was sick of always having to take it out as needed. After doing some research I came upon these subs. I never really heard any reviews on these, so here goes. I ordered a prefabbed, sealed box online to fit under the back seat and I ended up purchasing 2 of these. It took about 2-3 weeks for these subs to break in, so be patient. I have owned these for a month now, and they are incredible, especially for limited space installs. The specs on these don't say the frequency range they are capable of, but they can easily hit low 20hz range. The box I put them in had about .75cft net air space each chamber. After they broke in I decided to port the box using an online calculator, tuning them to 35hz. The reason I brought up the kicker is for comparison. These 2 10's don't quite hit as hard as the 15", but they come close. As time goes on, it still seems like they are getting better and better. These subs can easily handle 500watts each. So if there is anyone out there who is considering installing these in a truck, I would definitely recommend these, especially for their price. Just make sure You pay attention to the specs like mounting depth and xmax. I have these in a down firing box, so I had to find a box with at least 2" clearance from the floor. I love listening to bass heavy music, including all other types, and the bass these 2 10's produce is pure and deep. Like I said they may not rattle windows as hard as the 15" but they still put up a fight. My wife says they shake our home when I am parked out front. To me these 2 subs are well worth 109.00 each. And with 4ohm dvc I have them both wired in parallel down to 1ohm. I am very pleased I purchased these subs.
