Expensive, but what option do I have?
These replacement ear pads for my Sennheiser HD 430 Ear-Pads are incredibly expensive for what they are and, sadly, don't last more than a year or two even though I am careful to store them in a cool, dry place.
There really isn't any option except to buy new headphones and, given the cost of the replacement pads I may have to do that even though I like the headphones and their sound a lot.

Other than being a little too pricey I was completely satisfied with the product. Appeared identical to the original cushions as I remembered them. The ease of installing and overall quality were quite good.

My 'open' Sennheiser HD 430 headphones are irreplaceable - and they work great after 30 years. I need 'open' headphones because I am a radio producer and engineer and have to know what's going on the air and also what's going onin the studio around me. The headphones work great but after decades, the ear pads get raggedy. Sennheiser doesn't service its ancient products on their web page but I found these on Amazon and got them and in 5 seconds had what looks and feels like a brand new pair of headphones.
Perfect!
They perfectly fit my headphones! Highly recommend if you are considering them!
great service
Good price and good service. My order was delivered promptly.
Now I got as good as new high-end headphones
The HD430 were bought a long time ago. I enjoyed listening its warm sound for a few years and then put them away. Took them out a few months back to find the ear pads had just disintegrated - both the leatherette cover and the foam. Compared to the $$s to buy a new headphone, this looked much more economical. Ordered them and got the shipment very promptly. Taking out the old pad was a piece of cake - just tugged one end to where the plastic ring popped out and then slid a flat screwdriver around it to pop it right off. Used an old tooth brush to get all the remaining foam off (gentle brushing). The new one snapped right in. The headphone looks brand new now, sounds great and the fit is comfortable again.
