decent
This is a decent subwoofer. However for the price you pay it is great! Definatley not the best quality or worst, but also very affordable. It does good though. Great choice if youre on a budget!

I have been using 4 of these a bit unconventionally for the last month or so. I have two floor standing speakers which I replaced the old blows ones in. Wired them in series to match the 8 ohm resisted and voilà. Needless to say my house sounds like a nightclub now and all four of them are the working strong. I've pushed them pretty hard and they only distort, even without a low pass filter, when its up around the limits of my hearing as well. Granted I'm not using them in a car I can say my experience with boss's 12s has been pretty good. And for the price, you can't beat it.

I had x3 12inch kickers, I bought these Cer122's four of them made a custom box and everything. They do hit hard, but not nearly as hard as the kickers. Clear difference between 30$ speakers and 75$ speakers. I was expecting more from the Boss speakers so i cant say i am pleased, but honestly for the money my x4 Boss Cer122's is a nice setup. It certainly works well. I have a closed off trunk so i mainly feel vibrations, theres not much in the way of . . . how to describe, theres feeling subwoofers and then theres hearing. I certainly feel them, hearing them not so much. If you have a vehicle where your speakers wont have a wall between you and them you will be even more pleased than i am with them. With the discount it was 104$ for 4 of them, you cannot beat that price and you get decent wubs.
These Subwoofers cannot handle 1600watts, not even close. Maybe a quarter of that. if they where actually 1600watts they would be much more amazing.
Great for Entry level throw a 100$ out there, Then build a case yourself for about 50$ and have some fun, but make the case nice and get a really nice amp, so you can upgrade to 80$+ speakers. You really do, get what you pay for.
