RE Audio REXv2-8 Review
I bought 4 of these to go in my truck. I used 1 in a home theatre setup and it hits very hard. The manual gives very acurate specs to get the most out of your sub when building a box. I very much recomend these subs.

I have three of these in my GMC Sierra. And I must say for $54 apiece you can't beat them! The sound quality out of these subs are very good. And they do A pretty good job at hitting the Lows! I will say I'm very impressed with RE audio. Great little sub!

Put two of these in a BFM TAT, and got amazing results.
Also put three into TTLS home theater cabs, and got equally amazing results.
They may be relatively inexpensive, but they are definitely worth every penny and more.

Good entry level purchase. Space is an issue in an Escape. Drastic improvement from factory stereo. Would recommend as a good starting point.

If your looking for a nice sound quality bass in your system then this sub is for you. Its not going to pound the crap out of your vehicle but it will do a nice job of adding good quality bass.
Unreal!
I kept my expectations low with a $60 sub, but when it arrived, I started feeling like I'd stolen something. This is a nicely-built sub - every part of it from the coated stamped basket to comprehensive gaskets. Santoprene surround & poly cone should make for a long life. 2" 8-layer copper voice coil is a nice touch. I'd expect to easily pay twice this for all this sub. At this price point, it would be silly to make any other decision.
This sub is heavy for an 8 - especially at this price point. Construction is rock solid. A full gasket up top compliments the same on the magnet. Real terminals make solid connection a breeze.
I built the sealed enclosure right at .74 cubic feet - at the upper end of what's recommended by RE (no polyfil yet). It took a while to get all the electrics tuned, but last night I think I found the sweet spot. This does not sound like an 8 inch sub. It sounds like a 12. Now that I've managed to get the frequency response relatively flat, this thing just pounds and screams for more. It easily outruns my mids/highs and is equally at home with rock/disco/rap-bass/classical. This is easily the best-sounding sub I've ever owned and hits hard to boot. This is with a bridged US Amps Lisa (~170W RMS @ 4 Ohms although I hear these amps are maybe 10-15% underrated).
And this is is RE's cheap sub!
