Parrot CK3000 install and use
Purchased this product and as recommended the manufactured connector cables for a 2009 avenger and a 2000 Dodge Dakota. Installed in the avenger first, took about 1.5 hours to open the dash, install the unit, close the dash and test. The cables saved a lot of hookup headaches and would say they are required unless your are an excellent electrician, even with the factory car manuals it was interesting.
The unit is easier to use than my blue tooth headset. The Dakota, I assume because of the age difference does not like the parrot as much but it is still easier than a head set, note took several tries to find a location for the mike due to wind noise in the truck. Hook up again was easy...Both vehicles had all the necessary wire already installed as long as you had the connector cables, did not have to run anything except the control on the dash, the mike and find a place for the small box that houses the computer.

Parrot Bluetooth CK3000 Evolution integrated hands free phone
I would recommend this Bluetooth integrated hands free phone system. I had it installed in a series 1 Prius and a custom harness was available even though the car is getting up there in years. It sounds great through the car speakers, the volume is adjustable to just the way I like it. The small control is easy to use and because it is so little (not too little) it doesn't clutter up the dash. I have the little marble size microphone mounted by the rear view mirror's attachment to the headliner and it picks my voice up loud and clear. My friends say the calls are clear and background noise free. I have it paired to my Blackberry Pearl and can just leave it untouched, it pairs automatically when the car is started and I can just use the phone's contact list without having to program a duplicate list into the Parrot like I did with my previous system (U-connect). I'd say get one it's a nice device. I don't know about long term because I have only had it a couple of months.

Great Value
Pros: the product is easy to use, it syncs with my palm phone with ease. However, it has problems transferring my contact list to my Blackberry 9630, object push has to be utilized to get the contact list over. Easy to use, connect within seconds and switch to multiple phones with relative ease
Overall, excellent buy.
Cons: mild distortions

Great item for the money.
After several other bluetooth kits, this is the best so far. The ones that I've owned in the past lacked audio quality, mic reception, and/or bad user interface. The Parrot kit has none of these issues for me. The only issue is that the audio quality is a bit screechy, but not too bad. The user interface is simple as can be and the recipients of my calls all tell me that they hear me clearly. A very nice feature is that it connects easily when I start the engine, not something I can say about other kits.
The install was a bit difficult since I had to hard wire it to my aftermarket system. The instructions are for an OEM or aftermarket radio with factory speaker system and requires a specific wire harness to make the Parrot work properly. I would not suggest buying the kit if you go my route, it can get quite complicated.
Overall, I am very pleased with the kit in terms of function.

Great bang for the buck!
My in laws got a new car with an integrated system and are quite jealous of mine! Sound is good, DYI install is not too hard and I was a complete newbie.
Controls are a bit weird at first but easy getting use to it.

Good OEM Bluetooth Substitute
Easy to install, nearly plug and play. Sometimes the unit 'hangs up' and the phone takes over your radio and you can't do anything but make a phone call. The way to solve that is to basically reset the unit by turning your car off and then back on. I use mine on a BMW E46 sedan and it integrates perfectly with the OEM steering wheel controls and radio. The microphone that came with my unit wasn't that good and I had to install it outside the BMW OEM location, but I've read where others didn't have a problem at all. I've had the unit 6 months now and it's still working fine.

Parrot CK3000
Works well as Bluetooth interface. Could use a little more volume through the car's speakers, but overall a great solution.
