The P10002 is conservatively rated at 1000 watts RMS, and the P10002 can easily drive multiple subwoofers (or even one GIGANTIC subwoofer). A capacitor is recommended and we really are a fan of the CPC-D1003 digital 1.0 farad capacitor by Rockford Fosgate.
