The KICKER CompVR has evolved into one of the hottest and most popular subwoofers on the market today. The CVR's top-plate design, strong dual voice coils, and overall motor structure allow the sub to handle more power and withstand more abuse. The ribbed Santoprene surround adds strength and offers a new level of high excursion. The unique, and highly noticeable injection-molded cone completely eliminate flex by incorporating a 360-degree back bracing and aluminized coating. These things Have RANGE
I would have to say that the price of these subwoofers and the size of them makes them great, I now have four of them in a 1994 Honda Accord in a 4cubic feet sealed box hooked up to a Rockford Fosgate P2000.2 amplifier and when I turn the volume to 2/3 of the way I cant hear anything , The only downfall is that they don't hit the deep Bass notes the best but they do have plenty of range
