My husband had no problem installing the radio into our 24 ft jon-boat. The sound quality and reception are great and it's easy to use. Even our kids can tune in a station when we're out on the water.

I'm very happy with this receiver. I installed it on my 21 foot bowrider and so far it works great. What I like the most about it is the big fat buttons. As opposed to many of the other marine stereos, this one has big buttons that are easy to manipulate when you're on a boat that is rocking back and forth and bouncing on the lake. The aux jack is easily reached (in the rear of the unit) and I use it to play my mp3 player as well as XM Radio (through a seperate XM receiver). What I dislike about the product is how bulky it is. It sticks out quite a bit. Also, since the face plate is "hinged" and kind of "clicks" into place, it has a tendency to rattle a little. That was fixed with some small rubber foam round tabs. Overall, for the price Sonix was offering it for, it is a terrific stereo for the money. I highly recommend.
