I've owned this radio for about 8 months now. The price was good and for the most part everything works very well. The only things that I found that were not so great was first of all the ipod adapter. It's not very user friendly and the screen displays are very difficult to navigate thru. I finally ended up not using the adapter and just using an audio aux cable. Much easier. The other thing I don't really care for is the radio reception. There's a lot of static even with close range stations. I don't listen to the radio too often so it's not really a problem for me but I'm sure it would get annoying if you do listen to it a lot. DVD playback is good quality and easy to operate. Sounds great with the new speakers I installed.

I do like this deck but I feel like the text on the screen should look better. It is very nice, but when you go into menus the controls aren't very intuitive to me. The buttons also feel a little on the cheap side. Overall though this is a really good deck those are the only bad things I have to say. The connections on it are great. I run my zune to it, and have a zune dock in my car so I use the zune dock remote and its awesome having it on screen and for video playback its great. I haven't tried divx yet but six movies on a disc sounds great. I wish jvc would offer a steering wheel remote like pioneer. I don't have factory steering buttons. I can't wait til there is zune control offered

I recently upgraded my HU (a no name chinese unit- I've learned my lesson and will not be doing that again) for this and got it installed this past weekend (3/23/07). My modest system absolutely came alive. It sends a clean strong signal to my amps pushing a component set and a 12 sub. Everything sounds beautiful. Highs are crisp and clean, bass is deep and low.
The video is very nice and clear even though the screen is small, but still watchable.
I am still learning how to use all the features but I definitely recommend this HU. I love tweaking the 7 band equalizer, and if you're like me, you'll enjoy all the menu options available
Sonicelectronix is a great store(bought from here in the past) But I was able to purchase this for under $290.00 shipping included.
Like I said, Get this unit NOW!!!
