When it comes to car subwoofers, Rockford Fosgate raised the bar in terms of high quality affordable subwoofers. These Punch Stage 2 subwoofers are the perfect combination of price and deep bass. With a RMS power rating of only 200 watts, these subwoofers are designed for lower wattage amplifiers. However, don’t be fooled by the lower power rating. These efficient woofers are fully capable of producing crisp, clean bass that will shake you to the core. As with all of the other Rockford subwoofers, they have packed patented technology into this sub to enhance the performance of the subwoofer. The Venturi-effect cooling system helps to keep the voice coil cool, while the double stacked ferrite magnet help maintain the power. On the face of the woofer is a polypropylene cone and ABS/Acrylic dustcap. A little further out is the half-roll sealed poly-foam surround that assists with the high excursion of the motor assembly. For those that need a low wattage and high output subwoofer, the Rockford Fosgate Punch P2D28 is the choice subwoofer.

I have two of them in old Fosgate ported boxes. The boxes are way undersized for the specks they really should have and man do they sound great! Have them running off of some no name amp that puts 150w to both of them. You will not shake a hole block but thats not what I was looking for. They fill out the bottom end and fit in a really small space. Had to Dynamay the trunk to stop the rattles. I have been running them for 4 or 5 years now and they still sound great. Got them at Sonic too! Love this sub.

i got this little beast in a big ported box and it still amazes me the output of such a small woofer. I use it in the winter in the back seat of my 83 eldorado when i take out my 13 w7. it definitaly is no 8w7 but it still is a great 8. i also have a cvr 8 but the rockford is way better. plus the 2 ohm allows me to get !more power out of my amp.all in all great little subs, wish i had 4 of them
