I'm running this with a Kenwood DNX9140 which has 5 volt pre outs and unlike the other reviewer I have had no problems at all.
It sounds great and adds a lot of punch and detail to my 1800 watt rms system.
Simply the best.
Too bad it's discontinued.

this a great eq. i had it for about 10 years, and i finally changed it because i wanted a change of a system not cause it's broken. its a very solid eq. it has so much control over your system, so all you system tweeker people this is the eq for you. the only thing i didn't like about this eq is that it only accepts 2v preouts, but i've been running 4v and 5v preout decks (preimer and arsenol decks). Back in the day this eq was $250. this is a good buy!

My friend had this in his Dodge Shadow was pretty nice and sounded good too.The thing that i didn't like was the sliders were to small and to close together so it was hard to adjust while driving.I opted for the kgc-9042 which was digital and liked it much better.
