It's Called PUNCH For A Reason
The coldest blood runs through the veins of this Rockford Fosgate subwoofer. The 10" dual 4 ohms Punch Stage 3 subwoofer gives the cold shoulder to mercy when it comes to window rattling bass and clarity. The 2" dual voice coil receives its power from double stacked ferrite magnets throwing around 800 watts of peak power in your face. These energy thirsty Punch stage 3 subwoofers have a simple request; to receive lots of power. Their Kevlar fiber semi-pressed paper cones combine light weight with high strength to dramatically improve performance. Compressed sealed high excursion Poly-ether-ester makes up this woofers surround providing a strong yet elastic connection to the cone. To keep this beast cold blooded, Rockford Fosgate uses anodized aluminum voice coil formers to provide excellent heat dissipation. This punch woofer has stitched tinsel leads that withstand extreme duty cycles, fatigue and high current that is critical to its robust design. This 10" dual 4 ohms Punch Stage 3 subwoofer gives no mercy when it comes to performance, power handling, and construction quality. Just listen, and you will understand why its called a Punch!

I had a pair of these with each running off a Fosgate Power 500bd in a sealed box built to specs and these dropped very low. They replaced a pair of Kicker L7 10 inch and I will say the L7 were louder, but these P3 12 inch had a much better and smoother sound quality and were definitely loud enough and hit lower frequencies than the L7 10 inch. I had to get rid of them due to trading for a vehicle that cannot accomodate them, so now I have the P3 shallow mounts and they don't even compare to the standard P3.

Got this sub six months ago cause my Alpine 10" sub rubber cone tore... I hook up the Rockford Fosgate to my 5 channel Hifionics 700.5 amp... The sub banged as much as the amp allowed. ]Not enough power so I work construction and been around different caulking.. Came across this caulking ( 795 Dow corning) I used it the seal up my Alpine sub, let it cure for a week and hooked it back up to my system and it work fine.. So I have the Rockford fosgate ready for my next system!! Great sub
