I purchased the Bazooka VSE for my double cab about six months ago. At first I wasn’t very impressed with the overall quality of the unit. I found out over time that it really doesn’t perform unless the music has good, low bottom end and you have the radio turned up loud. I adjusted the gain as a cheater way of boosting the power but no real difference. I must say that the fit is perfect and installation was a breeze.
I have had and still have some good audio systems as well with being a radio installer back in the day. With that said, I do know what it takes to break windshields, and what can be done with a Bazooka tube and this VSE is just okay. If you want a little more out of your factory radio, then this is for you. If you are looking to get a noticeable upgrade, I would pass on it. Some days I wish I didn’t buy it but some days it works fine. All in all, it still sounds like a factory sound system.

Decent low end sound and very convenient from an installation standpoint. Took about an hour to install from beginning to end. It is not a very powerful sub-woofer and doesn't have a lot of punch but it fills in the lower decibels well if your not looking to break the bank or the window.

This is a great wire harness and comes with great instructions. Total install time was less than 45 minutes.
