This amp seems to be pretty good. I really have no complaints, good for the price. Only thing is that it have a sub-sonic filter and I really couldnt tell a difference with is turned off or up all the way, could just be me though.

I bought this amp about eight months ago, and I love it. I have a 12" JBL in my trunk at it rattles me to pieces. Though like any boy and their toy, you eventually want bigger, better, louder. MORE, MORE, GIVE ME MORE BASS!!!! But until I can rightly justify the NEED for more, this amp does me good. I have no complaints since I have bought it. It hammers out every ounce of bass it can handle, from Techno, Rap, Rock, Heavy Metal, and every other genre I have on my iPod. So all in all, it a good lil sucka that will provide a good bump for ya buck.

This amp is really good, it thumps good too. I'm using 2 Kicker 07C104 150w rms 4ohms each. Together i created a 2ohm load. what can i say it thumps really well. The sub sonic filter, bass boost, low pass filter, and gain... they all work well. for the price you cant beat it. and it has way more features than Kicker zx300.1. Even though that the ZX300.1 sounds good as well, but you don't have much features to tweak the sound the way how you want it too!
Again for the money is just perfect, it thumps really well. I mean I've gotten pulled over by cops twice telling me that the bass is too loud, imagine if i had the MTX 1000XD, its just insane!

I bought this at a local retailer and it really puts out what it says or better, birth sheet says over 50 watts more at 2 and 4 ohms. First of all the edges of the amp are plastic holding the metal amp like a pair of hands, kinda cheap but the amp it self is all metal with a chrome logo. I have a jl 10w3 at 4 ohms and its loud if you tune it properly with your deck, at 2ohms and my new 10w3v3 2ohm, it's even louder. My subwoofer is rate at 300rms this does it with only at 14.4 volts, so I'm probably onlt getting 50 watts less, tune the gain properly and you will never have a problem with this amp.
The design isn't my cup of tea but it's heat sinks work well and it is a small amp. I am surprised it is not a noisy amp, I have had class ab amps be noisy and this thing doesn't make a peep. Over all this amp for the price makes the power it claims for a fraction of what others are selling for, thanks mtx for a quality product I can afford.

Paired this amp with 2 Earthquake Sound SWS-8X "pancake" subs in a BMW 325i. The amp has plenty of power to push these subs to their limit. In fact, I don't turn up the remote gain past 1/4! Another greater feature of this amp is the ability of the amp to turn itself on by sensing the signal in the speaker inputs. This means you do not have to run a separate aux line to the amp! In addition, the amp also lets us use high power input as the signal source. These features allowed for easy installation in the BMW which already has a factory amped installed. All you have to do is tap into the signal after it comes out of the BMW factory amp. (Before the amp the signal is digital). Made installation very easy!
