This woofer Awesome with a capital A! After a good period
of break in I was able to hit a 130db With a pair running off
A Soundstream rub. 2500D with ease. Great sub with a good
Clean sound and very responsive. Dont put a sissy amp on it
because it is hungry and will handle all you can throw at it just
as long as it is clean. The size alone will amaze you at nearly 40
Pounds. Sonics expedited service only added to the pleasure.

I am really satisfied with my purchase but I am struggling to find a box suitable that’s to spec.

I researched 12inch subs for 6 months before buying and have had 2 of these bad boys running off of a Hifonics Elite BRE2500.1D for about a year now in a custom tuned double wall box I built myself. I never review things unless they really suck or really rock. These ROCK! Seriously! They are more than I need. I CAN NOT listen at full volume for longer than a few minutes on bass heavy songs. They hurt my ears and I am a life long "Bass Head" (I'm 45 yo). I keep a box of earplugs in the van and insist people wear them when I show off. Its that loud. The only SPL meter I've had access to maxes at 145db and it pegged the meter. I've clamp tested the AMP and its putting out 2560 watts RMS so about 1250 watts per sub. Before you call BS let me tell you that I'm a scientific engineer and I know what I'm doing. I have older models with the big spring loaded connectors and they were the weak link The little plastic piece that mounts the connectors broke when I was installing them. With the new models having soldered wires instead, I find zero reason to spend more money for less sound. Keep your Alpine, forget Kicker, AMERICAN BASS! OH... and do yourself a favor. Spend a few more dollars and get them from Sonic. They are without a doubt the best in the business.

It's a very good speaker been waiting to get my hands on it, because there typically overlooked. If you put it in the right box you want be disappointed, I'm running one sub 2ohm right at 1000watts. 3.00cubic ft box, tuned to 34hz. It's loud to the point were it vibrates everything in the house, it turns heads. but you need to let it break in first before it actually starts to pound. I think I'm going to get a massive audio summo next, but I do love the speaker. It is good quality.

I have two XFL1244's in a 1.0cu.ft sealed box and a Sundown Audio SCV2000d amplifier. These subwoofers are impressive, I was going to purchase the Sundown SA12's but these seemed to be a good match, and they are. If you are contemplating getting a 1000watt rms sub, get the XFL1244. I have ran 4 compVR's at 1500watts and the xfl's hit harder.
I had unboxed these subs at work and anyone who saw them (audiophile or not) were stopped in teir tracks. I have mechanical Engineers who looked at this sub and commented on the power handling and how well built the XFL's are. If I could fit more in my Genesis Track, I would.
Bottom line... well built, hard hitting, economical

Can not beat the sound these woofers can produce. Have them running on 2k audiopipe mono block in my Mazda 3 hatchback. Rattles the car and cars around me for that matter. Great sub for the money would definitely recommend!

I researched these for months. Now I wish I would have purchased these as soon as I seen them. I have 2 on 1400 watts and they barely move. They are in break-in period, but my amp is not enough to push them. Massive air movement. For the price, these are no joke. I have influenced others to purchase xfl's. When people hear them, they don't believe it's 2 that are underpowered. I will be upgrading my amp to see what they can really do. Good looking out sonicelectronix, you are always providing superior service.
