I bought this amp and was afraid it would not be like the good old amps were. As we all know its how your system sounds at the end that counts. I use mine with a 12in r type and the 1.8 ported box from this site and its so loud and clear. Small little amp rocks with rock music. Almost too deep if that is possible but I believe that has a lot to do with the sub. I used to have it in a 1 cu ft box and I was about to use it as a table. Glad I did not. Box changed everything. So I like to keep my alpine products for about ten years and this amp just moved to to the top of the list. And one more cool fact is way less power draw than my last amp which was not as powerful and like the ad says not as efficient.

This product has served me very well. Exceptional quality and sound. Paired with a Hertz 10in high energy sub in a ported box makes absolute pristine bass for audiophiles and when you want you can crank it for booming fun. Highly recommended.

i have two of these amps hooked up to two separate kicker l7 tens and it is perfect. I have each one running at two ohms and the amp says it is 600 watts but it has to be more because my subs were flexing so much when i turned it up all the way
